Your salary never leaves your device
Every calculation on Salryd — the in-hand salary calculator and every tool we add in future — runs entirely in your browser using JavaScript. The CTC, basic salary, rent, and every other figure you enter is never transmitted to our servers, and we have no way of seeing it.
What we store locally on your device
To save you re-entering your numbers, we store your last calculator inputs in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device — clearing your browser data removes it, and it's never sent to us.
What we do collect
If you sign up for a “coming soon” tool's waitlist, we store the email address you provide so we can notify you at launch. We also collect anonymous, aggregate usage events (like which page was visited) to understand which tools to build next — these events are never linked to the salary figures you enter.
Third parties
We use Supabase to store waitlist emails and anonymous usage events. We do not sell your data to anyone, and we do not use your email for anything beyond the purpose you signed up for.
